The fourth G-FINDER survey reports on 2010 global investment into research and development (R&D) of new products for neglected diseases, and identifies trends and patterns across the four years of global G-FINDER data. Total funding for research and development on neglected diseases has suffered major cuts in the wake of the global financial crisis, although the impact has been reduced by a substantial increase in private sector funding.
