This technical brief seeks to explore how innovative technology is being used to improve programming evidence, effectiveness, and efficiency and support better accountability. Whilst the focus is on Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) programmes, evidence and experiences from closely related health and nutrition initiatives will be reviewed in order to learn lessons. This will not be an exhaustive listing of all interventions or opportunities, but is intended to be a starting point for discussion and to highlight ideas that have been used to date.
