Department for International Development, February 2015
The purpose of this review was to benchmark the UK Department for International Development’s activities on digital and to support the development of an overarching vision for digital work in their programmes. It found that digital technologies can add value to their development interventions and help them to reach greater numbers of poor and marginalised people more quickly and cost-effectively. However, there are also significant barriers to success, scale and replication.
