This special report is published by the All-Party Parliamentary Group and co-authored by Malaria Consortium. It highlights the growing threat of resistance to artemisinin combination therapies – currently the most effective malaria drug. The report discusses solutions to tackling drug resistance to eliminate malaria in affected areas in Southeast Asia. This includes ensuring a comprehensive and rapid scale-up of interventions in the region and continued investment in all areas of an elimination strategy.
