In Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous government within The United Republic of Tanzania, numerous development partners, including the USAID, Deliver Project and the Supply Chain Management System (SCMS), undertook various initiatives toward the strengthening of public health supply chains. The publication discusses these initiatives, including the design and rollout of the Zanzibar Integrated Logistics System (ZILS), infrastructure enhancement for Central Medical Stores (CMS) warehouses, and the implementation of mSupply, a warehouse management system.
