The course is designed for both new and more experienced health researchers, research leaders, and medical writers wishing to achieve success in writing, publishing and disseminating research through traditional journals, and other channels. Participants will build skills and confidence in a supportive and friendly learning environment. Participants will learn how to write key sections of research articles making optimal use of reporting guidelines such as CONSORT, STROBE, and PRISMA, and the importance of writing and publishing protocols. It also covers targeting the right journal, dealing with peer review, and writing for health practitioners and the public.
