Linking undernutrition to poor hygiene, poor sanitation and unsafe drinking water is a key focus of multi-sector approaches in many countries. The WASH’Nutrition guidebook offers practical help to practitioners involved in designing programmes in both humanitarian and development contexts. The manual provides examples from over 30 countries on how to link nutrition and WASH programming, plus guidance on setting up monitoring and evaluation systems to measure progress and impact, and tools for advocacy and capacity-building. There is also a resources section with tools and examples from the field on how integration efforts can fit within a project cycle.
